Syntax
Section titled “Syntax”Get-PveNodesJournal [-PveTicket <PveTicket>] [-Endcursor <string>] [-Identifiers <bool>] [-Kernel <bool>] [-Lastentries <int>] -Node <string> [-Priority <string>] [-Service <string>] [-Since <int>] [-Startcursor <string>] [-Structured <bool>] [-Unit <string>] [-Units <bool>] [-Until <int>] [<CommonParameters>]Parameters
Section titled “Parameters”| Parameter | Type | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
-PveTicket |
PveTicket |
No | Ticket data connection. |
-Endcursor |
string |
No | End before the given Cursor. Conflicts with ‘until’. |
-Identifiers |
bool |
No | Also return a record listing the distinct syslog identifiers present, for filter completion. Only honored together with ‘structured’. |
-Kernel |
bool |
No | Only print kernel messages. |
-Lastentries |
int |
No | Limit to the last X lines. Conflicts with a range. |
-Node |
string |
Yes | The cluster node name. |
-Priority |
string |
No | Only print messages of this syslog priority: a single level from 0 (emerg) to 7 (debug), selecting that level and everything more severe, or a ‘LOW..HIGH’ range. Empty means no priority filter. |
-Service |
string |
No | Only print messages whose syslog identifier matches this glob, for example ‘pve*’ or ‘postfix/*’. |
-Since |
int |
No | Display all log since this UNIX epoch. Conflicts with ‘startcursor’. |
-Startcursor |
string |
No | Start after the given Cursor. Conflicts with ‘since’. |
-Structured |
bool |
No | Return one JSON object per entry with separate fields (timestamp, identifier, message, priority, …) instead of pre-rendered text lines. |
-Unit |
string |
No | Only print messages of this systemd unit (the .service suffix is implied). |
-Units |
bool |
No | Also return a record listing the distinct systemd units present, for filter completion. Only honored together with ‘structured’. |
-Until |
int |
No | Display all log until this UNIX epoch. Conflicts with ‘endcursor’. |
Every parameter also binds by property name from the pipeline, so an object with node and vmid properties (the output of Get-PveGuest, for one) fills -Node and -Vmid. Without -PveTicket the cmdlet uses the last connection, see Connection.
Output
Section titled “Output”A PveResponse: the data returned by Proxmox VE is in .Response.data, the outcome in .IsSuccessStatusCode. See Results and Errors.
