AI Server: MCP Bridge
cv4pve-mcp-bridge is a stdio ↔ HTTP bridge that connects MCP clients that only speak stdio (e.g. Claude Desktop) to the MCP endpoint of AI Server. It reads JSON-RPC messages from stdin, forwards them to the MCP server using the MCP Streamable HTTP transport, and writes the responses back to stdout.
Clients that support MCP over HTTP natively do not need it: see Native HTTP clients.
From the Bridge tab
Section titled “From the Bridge tab”Use the Bridge tab in the AI Server module to download the binary for your platform and generate a ready-to-use claude_desktop_config.json pre-filled with your server URL. Fill in App Token and Binary path, then Download the file or Copy to clipboard.
When cv4pve-admin is reached over plain HTTP, the generated configuration adds --insecure. This option disables certificate validation: do not use it in production.
